Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort is a family-friendly luxury resort.
The resort accommodates families, couples, and singles. Your teaching vacation booking covers the professional and one adult companion, or the professional, one adult, and up to two children (age 12 and under). Please ensure your guest count is accurate at the time of booking. Accommodations typically feature one King bed or two Double beds, subject to availability.
Note: Promotional discount codes and standard packages cannot be applied to this location. Vacation Passes and Wallet Cash are permitted.
Teaching Commitment & Requested Formats
Professionals at Grand Hyatt Cancun are expected to lead engaging, accessible classes suitable for a diverse, multi-generational guest demographic. The resort operates with a two-position program. You must be certified and prepared to offer classes from the following categories:
Position 1: Yoga
Dedicated exclusively to Yoga professionals. Lead restorative, sunrise, or flow sessions designed for all skill levels. With beautiful coastal settings, these sessions are a guest favorite.
Position 2: Group Fitness / Pilates / Wellness Practitioner
Designed for high-energy group fitness instructors, core-focused Pilates teachers, or specialized wellness practitioners leading accessible, engaging sessions.
Mandatory Deliverables
- Professional Photo: A high-resolution, fitness-focused portrait is required immediately upon confirmation for the resort’s guest-facing schedule.
- Current Certifications: Valid certifications covering the formats you intend to teach must be current and uploaded to your Fit Bodies profile.
- Social Media Engagement: Active tagging of Grand Hyatt Cancun and Fit Bodies during your exchange is expected to promote the wellness programming.

Your professional presence and ownership of the "classroom" experience are essential to our program's success. Consistent adherence to these standards ensures a high-quality wellness experience for all resort guests.
You are responsible for your class set-up. While resort staff may assist, it should not be expected. Ensure your space is ready and equipment is organized before guests arrive.
Guests are on vacation; remain mindful of varying states of exercise readiness and potential dehydration. Actively monitor for overexertion or heat exhaustion, ensuring your teaching area is hazard-free.
Arrive 30 minutes prior to start time to encourage participation and welcome participants. If no guests show initially, remain for the full duration of your scheduled class time to accommodate any late arrivals.
Be ready to adapt to various experience levels and languages. Your goal is to enhance guest confidence and enjoyment regardless of their background or physical ability.
Respect local protocols and maintain a positive rapport with on-site entertainment and fitness teams. Your role is to complement their program as a valuable team member through seamless communication.

To ensure a smooth and secure experience, please complete the following essential steps. These items are non-negotiable requirements that protect you financially, guarantee legal entry, and ensure a seamless resort check-in.
