What does it mean to be 'Travel Ready'?

Travel Ready is the status that confirms your Fit Bodies profile meets the standards required by our resort partners. It is not required to book a Teaching Vacation — but it is required to receive final travel approval before your trip.

Here's how it works under the current booking model: you can reserve a week and secure your spot immediately. Your profile then needs to be complete and approved at least 30 days before your travel date. A complete, Travel Ready profile is what makes that approval fast and seamless.

Your 5-Step Travel Ready Checklist

Your account status updates automatically as you complete each section. Work through all five to reach Travel Ready:

1. Account Information — contact details and basic account setup
2. Profile Photo — professional headshot
3. Professional Information — experience summary and teaching history
4. Certifications — valid, current documentation for all specialties you offer
5. Active Membership — a current, paid membership

Once all five are complete, your account displays Travel Ready status.

Detailed requirements by section

1. Certifications

Upload valid, up-to-date certification documents for every specialty and discipline you plan to teach. All certifications are reviewed before being approved for booking use.

If your account is past the 7-day trial period, any new specialty you add will go through a review before it is activated. You will receive a notification — approval or request for additional information — within 72 hours in most cases.

2. Professional Experience

Document your current and past teaching history for each format you are qualified to teach. Find this under the Professional Info tab on your account page.

• Bio: A paragraph or two summarizing your background — think of it as your resume summary.
• Experience: Complete all available fields, including qualifying sub-specialties. The more detail you provide, the faster your final approval moves.

3. Final Travel Approval

After you book, our team reviews your full profile — experience, certifications, and photo — to grant confirmed travel approval. Some resort partners also conduct their own review before approving instructors.

A fully detailed profile significantly speeds up this process.

Do not book flights until you receive booking confirmation from our team.

Returning members

An updated profile photo and current professional information are required annually alongside your membership renewal. Outdated profiles will delay travel approval.
