⚠️ Mandatory Requirement: Aqua Fitness
Teaching Aqua Fitness is a required format for ALL instructors at this location. 🌊💪
Regardless of your primary specialty (Yoga, Pilates, etc.), all visiting professionals must be prepared to lead aqua-based sessions to meet the specific demands of the resort's activity schedule.
👥 Occupancy & Room Configuration:
The resort has a strict maximum occupancy of 4 people per room.
Permitted Room Combinations:
- Option A: 2 Adults + 2 Children (Both children must be 12 years old or younger).
- Option B: 3 Adults + 1 Child (The 3rd guest must be 13–17 years old and is charged the nightly adult rate; child must be 12 or younger).
🧸 Important: Child Supervision
Do not rely on the Explorer Club during your class time obligations. Babysitting is available for a fee and must be arranged if your child cannot be supervised by your companion while you are teaching.
📋 Position Requirements
Sunscape Curacao hosts one professional per week. Instructors must be proficient in Aqua plus any of the following:
- 🧘 Core Specialties: Yoga, Pilates, Group Fitness, Zumba, or STRONG Nation.
- 🥁 Format Note (POUND): Professionals teaching POUND are required to bring their own Ripstix for use during their sessions.
- ⚔️ WARRIOR Programs: Professionals are welcome to lead WARRIOR sessions; however, the Revolution module is not permitted at this resort.
- 📸 Professional Photo: A high-resolution portrait is required for resort marketing and the guest schedule.
- 📜 Current Certifications: Valid certifications for your teaching formats must be current and uploaded to your profile.

📋 Professional Standards & Classroom Ownership
Your professional presence and ownership of the "classroom" experience are essential to our program's success. Consistent adherence to these standards ensures a high-quality wellness experience for all resort guests.
You are responsible for your class set-up. While resort staff may assist, it should not be expected. Ensure your space is ready and equipment is organized before guests arrive.
Guests are on vacation; remain mindful of varying states of exercise readiness and potential dehydration. Actively monitor for overexertion or heat exhaustion, ensuring your teaching area is hazard-free.
Arrive 30 minutes prior to start time to encourage participation and welcome participants. If no guests show initially, remain for the full duration of your scheduled class time to accommodate any late arrivals.
Be ready to adapt to various experience levels and languages. Your goal is to enhance guest confidence and enjoyment regardless of their background or physical ability.
Respect local protocols and maintain a positive rapport with on-site entertainment and fitness teams. Your role is to complement their program as a valuable team member through seamless communication.

To ensure a smooth and secure experience, please complete the following essential steps. These items are non-negotiable requirements that protect you financially, guarantee legal entry, and ensure a seamless resort check-in.

Check expiration dates for all travelers immediately. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond your return date.
Renewal Tip: Current processing times can take up to six months.
A physical, printed copy of your voucher is required by resort security and the front desk at check-in.
