Teaching Practices and Standards

📋 Professional Standards & Classroom Ownership

Your professional presence and ownership of the "classroom" experience are essential to our program's success. Consistent adherence to these standards ensures a high-quality wellness experience for all resort guests.

Set-Up Ownership

You are responsible for your class set-up. While resort staff may assist, it should not be expected. Ensure your space is ready and equipment is organized before guests arrive.

Guest Engagement and Safety

Guests are on vacation; remain mindful of varying states of exercise readiness and potential dehydration. Actively monitor for overexertion or heat exhaustion, ensuring your teaching area is hazard-free.

Punctuality

Arrive 30 minutes prior to start time to encourage participation and welcome participants. If no guests show initially, remain for the full duration of your scheduled class time to accommodate any late arrivals.

Adaptability

Be ready to adapt to various experience levels and languages. Your goal is to enhance guest confidence and enjoyment regardless of their background or physical ability.

Staff & Departmental Harmony

Respect local protocols and maintain a positive rapport with on-site entertainment and fitness teams. Your role is to complement their program as a valuable team member through seamless communication.

🧳 Teaching Vacation Essentials

To ensure a smooth and secure experience, please complete the following essential steps. These items are non-negotiable requirements that protect you financially, guarantee legal entry, and ensure a seamless resort check-in.

🛡️ Travel Insurance

Crucial for protecting your financial investment and providing support for medical emergencies or disruptions.

🛂 Passport Requirements

Check expiration dates for all travelers immediately. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond your return date.

Renewal Tip: Current processing times can take up to six months.

📄 Check-In Voucher

A physical, printed copy of your voucher is required by resort security and the front desk at check-in.

Teaching Schedule

📅 Teaching Schedule & Commitment

Your specific teaching schedule will be determined immediately upon arrival during a meeting with the Entertainment Manager or designated resort contact.

2 hours per day plus up to 2 colleague classes 30-45 per week

⚠️ Early Departure Notice:

Departing a day early to accommodate flight schedules is not permissible.

Transfer requirements vary by destination. Once your booking status reaches "Confirmed," you will receive a detailed email with specific instructions for your location.

Amstar Servicing Destinations: A direct booking link will be provided in your confirmation.
Club Med Properties: Transfers must be secured independently via the Club Med mobile app.
Couples Resorts: Our office will arrange your arrival transfer using your provided flight and companion data.
Boutique Locations: Local taxi service is recommended upon arrival.
