Do I need a membership to book a Teaching Vacation?+

No. Anyone can create a free account and book. Non-members pay standard pricing plus a 30% service fee and have a booking window of ~5 weeks out. Members pay standard pricing with no markup — and depending on tier, can book months or years in advance.

Do I need my certifications uploaded before I can book?+

No. You can complete your booking and upload your certifications afterward. You have until 30 days before your travel date to complete your profile and receive travel approval. Having your profile complete before checkout does make the process faster.

What happens after I pay?+

Your week is secured immediately. Fit Bodies will review your profile and credentials before your travel date. Once approved, you're confirmed to travel. You'll receive a notification when your approval is complete.

What exactly do I receive as a Teaching Vacation professional?+

All-inclusive accommodations at a luxury 5-star resort for yourself and typically one adult companion — including all meals, drinks, and full access to all resort amenities and entertainment. Many family-friendly resorts also allow up to two children under 13.

How far in advance can I book?+

Basic members: ~5 weeks out. Travel members: ~13 months. Medallion & Enterprise members: ~20 months — and they're the first to be notified when new resorts open. Popular dates and premium resorts fill up fast, so planning ahead matters.

How many classes do I need to teach?+

The standard commitment is 1–2 classes per day, depending on the resort's schedule. The rest of the day is entirely yours to enjoy the resort, explore the destination, or simply relax.

What certifications are required?+

A current, recognized certification in your specialty (e.g., Yoga Alliance RYT, ACE, NASM, PTR) and at least one year of teaching experience. CPR/First Aid certification is also required. Specific resorts may have additional requirements.

Can I bring my family or partner?+

Yes. Your booking covers you and typically one adult companion at no extra lodging cost. Many family-friendly resorts also allow up to two children under 13 in the room. Flights and transfers are your responsibility.

How do the administrative fees work?+

Instead of paying full resort rates, you pay a Fit Bodies booking fee that covers coordination, concierge services, and resort logistics start to finish. The average savings vs. paying retail is over $3,000 per week for a couple.
