Fit Bodies, Inc., is a booking agency. We have contracted with resorts to offer qualified, certified, educated fitness and other specialized professionals to teach and train at resort facilities as independent contractors with Fit Bodies. As independent contractors all fitness and teaching professionals acknowledge and confirm that they are not employees of Fit Bodies, Inc., its affiliates, nor the resorts. All sports professionals acknowledge that they determine the methods, details, and means of their respective training and teaching services, and that Fit Bodies, Inc. does not control, direct, or supervise the professionals in their performance of such services. Fitness professionals and their traveling companions, as a condition of this agreement, shall not discuss fees or costs with any resort personnel, or guests of the resort. All issues concerning fees, charges, accommodations, amenities, scheduling or otherwise must be directed to Fit Bodies, Inc.

What is this program?
Fitness and sports professionals act as independent contractors using Fit Bodies, Inc. as a booking agency to travel and teach while on vacation.
Who is this program for?
Experienced and certified group fitness instructors, personal trainers, tennis instructors, yoga teachers and Pilates teachers. Massage therapists, chiropractors and dieticians may also find travel opportunities with us.
What is included with a teaching vacation?
When you book a trip, all-inclusive accommodations for yourself, and your guest, including all amenities, food, drinks provided to regular guests. All positions include a complimentary adult guest. Included children vary based on the resort, but many include two kids ages 0-12.
What is NOT included with a teaching vacation?
No flights are included, nor additional expenses you have billed at any resort. We do not pay for transfers, but some resorts have complimentary transfers.
What type of accommodations will I be staying in?
You will stay in the same accommodations as paying guests. There is a rare chance you will be moved off property due to overselling of the resort. This is more prevalent during holidays and peak times. Some resorts will not provide alternate locations if the resort oversells. We recommend purchasing travel insurance.
How many classes do I teach or train each day?
Three hours maximum per day on your non travel days.
How do I sign up for this program?
Our fitness professionals apply online by creating an account at Fitness Pro Travel. Fitness Pro Travel is where the fitness professional views real-time booking availability and then your vacation orders are also placed via your account at Fitness Pro Travel. Fitness Pro Travel is your main tool to making your fantastic all-inclusive vacation dreams a reality!
After I sign up at Fitness Pro Travel, how do I proceed?
Login to the account you created with the username and password you chose. On the left side of the page is a search field where the fitness professional can search over 45 resorts fitness positions (based on the pros specific teaching specialties). In the left search field, a pro views availability by date wanting to travel, where they want to travel to, or what the pro wants to teach when upon traveling. Once the pro is ready to book, the travel session is placed into shopping cart to proceed to check out. Our office will confirm the trip very quick and you will receive an email from Fitness Pro Travel confirming your Fit Bodies, Inc. teaching vacation. You may purchase flights at this time to arrive and depart on Sundays unless otherwise stated. (ie: Travel to Desire is on Saturdays and Zoetry Aqua allows any day travel based on a minimum 5 nights) Then prior to traveling you will download a voucher/check in document to take to the resort. We are always available for your booking questions.
How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
Many hotels provide complimentary transportation to and from the airport to the hotel. All of the transfer information is available prior to booking. If a resort provides complimentary transfers, this includes one trip to the resort and one trip back to the airport. We will help you book a transfer if your resort does not provide it complimentary.
Who is liable if someone is injured during participation in a class I am teaching?
The hotel has an umbrella policy coving all aspects of our program. Because all instructors are certified, we expect you to also be covered with your own liability policy.
How much does it cost to fly to the Caribbean?
It depends on when you travel, where you travel and when you book. At this time we do not have special offers on flights. Fitness pros on west coast should check flights into Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, or Huatulco, Mexico as both (non-Caribbean) places have beautiful resorts.
Are there any hidden costs?
Most airlines now include departure taxes, but you will want to confirm departure taxes have been included. There is a $10 visitor visa fee in Dominican Republic upon entering the country.
Can I take my family (children)?
If you are traveling to a family resort, then almost all the properties allow two children under 12. There are a few exceptions to this, so read the resort descriptions before you book your trip. Rose Hall allows two kids up to the age of 18. Most hotels will only allow 4 people maximum in a room. Dreams Puerto Aventuras is the exception and will take allow a third child at an additional fee based on availability.
May I take a third adult?
Some resorts will allow a third adult for an additional nightly rate. Others will only permit 2 adults in a room.
Can I buy additional rooms for friends and family?
Many resorts offer our pros very good rates to bring your friends or family along with you. Reach out to the Fit Bodies Inc. concierge for the particular resort to inquire the rates at specific properties.
Do I have to Travel Sunday to Sunday?
In most cases yes, otherwise you will be overlapping with other instructors. There are usually added fees for days outside of Sunday to Sunday. Then your teaching schedule is Monday - Saturday. The exceptions: Desire Riviera Maya asks pros to arrive and depart on Saturdays and Huatulco resorts allows any day travel as long as it is in 7 day increments.
Do I take my own music?
Please take an ipod and hook up as well as a CD or two to be safe. It can be helpful to leave burned fitness CDs for resort staff members to use.
Can I do this more than once, or stay more than 1 week?
Yes and you can book consecutive weeks at one time. You can travel as many weeks as you like.
What time of the day do I need to arrive and depart?
Arrival and departure anytime on Sunday is appropriate
Is it safe to Travel to the Caribbean?
Hotel security is at a maximum and you will feel quite safe. When you leave the hotel properties, please stay with a group or with a known guide.
What about this 'Nude" thing?
Many properties in Jamaica and even Mexico have an "au natural" beach. Some properties have aqua classes in the "au natural swimming pools". At the El Dorado Seaside Suites, there is a yoga class held each day at Hidden Beach (adjacent to this resort), which is a nude resort. Fitness instructors will remain professional, and clothed while teaching.
May I change my dates or property once they have been confirmed?
We hope that you will not book unless you are completely confident you will be traveling the dates and resort you chose. If you change dates or locations this creates a problem for us to be able to cover abandoned dates and adds additional amount of work for Fit Bodies Inc. and the resorts. Refer to change and cancellation policy below.
What will my schedule be like?
Schedules will vary week to week and from resort to resort. We try to keep fitness schedules updated and listed in each resorts description.
Do I have to bring a Gift?
All pros participate in the gift fund upon traveling with our program. Within each resort��s description there is specific information regarding the gift fund for the particular resort. Most of the resorts require you to take items valued at $150 which Fit Bodies Inc. office will tell you the items needed by the resort. The office will be in touch a month prior to your trip with this information.
A few of the resorts require you to bring cash to fulfill the gift fund, while other resorts have us collect $150 upon your resort check out at Fitness Pro Travel to provide large, heavy, expensive fitness equipment to the resort.
Do I need a passport?
YES. If you are getting a new one for the trip be certain the Passport office is aware of your travel dates. You need a passport and Brazilian issued VISA to go to Brazil, if you are a US and Canadian citizen. The Brazilian Consulate information will be on your confirmation papers.
What do I mark on the customs/immigration form?
WHEN TRAVELING TO THE RESORTS IT IS IMPORTANT THAT ALL SPORTS PROFESSIONALS DESIGNATE VACATION OR PLEASURE ON ALL CUSTOMS DECLARATION FORMS. DESIGNATING BUSINESS OR VACATION/BUSINESS MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DEPORTATION TO YOUR ORIGINATING DESTINATION.
Can I contact the hotel manager for a return trip to a particular resort?
Once you have traveled with Fit Bodies Inc, you are not able to contact anyone for a return trip. The hotels sign a contract with us stating they will put all pros through our system and not book someone separate of the program.
Change or Cancellation Policy:
CHANGE POLICY: If you cannot travel or need to change the dates, please contact us immediately so we can cover the vacated session.
Changing the resort or date of travel incurs a $150 fee if done prior to 45 days of departure. Changes within 45 days will result in forfeiture of booking fees... refer to cancellation policy below.

CANCEL POLICY: Travel insurance is the only way to protect your investment in Fit Bodies, Inc. purchases.
Since travel insurance is offered through Fit Bodies, Inc. via Chartis Travel Guard, cancellation of a purchased session, for any reason, will receive no refund and no rollover. The only exception is a purchased session cancelled within 48 hours of the original booking time. Purchase amount will be credited for use on a future teaching vacation booking. All account credits expire in 12 months.
RARE OCCURANCES: There is a slight chance a resort may reach full capacity. In this instance the pro may be moved off property. All of this is rare and typically avoided.
Transportation will be provided when needed and all resort activities and amenities will be available to the guest fitness pros and included guests. If you are requested to move off property for one or more nights, this is non-negotiable and your cooperation is required. The hotels prefer to house you rather than pay for your accommodations elsewhere so this happens only if absolutely necessary.
If a hotel closes for any reason or Fit Bodies, Inc. is forced to move the pro's reservation we will do our best to relocate the pro (and included companions) to another comparable resort on an even exchange. No refunds or credits will be issued and Fit Bodies, Inc. shall not be liable or responsible for flights purchased, changed or cancelled, nor provide alternate accommodations during the scheduled teaching vacation. If no other teaching option is available for the same dates, the booking fee will be held as a credit for one year to use with a future teaching vacation. If the fitness pro refuses any of the alternative options provided, the pro will forfeit the fee.
Changes to policies
Fit Bodies Inc. reserves the right to modify these policies at any time. Such modifications will have immediate effect upon posting the information to the site. You are bound by any such revisions and should periodically visit this page to review this agreement. Your continued use of the site shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of these terms and conditions and if applicable any modifications.
Liability: Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, shall Fit Bodies, Inc. be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use of or the inability to use the products on this site. In consideration for accepting and processing your application and permitting the applicant to service the resort on a "guest status" assignment basis, the applicant hereby agrees to release and hold Fit Bodies Inc. and its affiliates, their servicing partners, their offices and employees, as well as the resort, it's offices and employees, harmless for any personal injury, loss or harm occurring during and while traveling to and from, the subject resort assignment caused by third parties, or by other forces or instrumentalities, not acting under these providers, special direction and control. Fit Bodies, Inc. or their affiliate users, in their sole discretion, further reserve the right to limit or cancel the subject resort assignment for safety or other reasons, and no such limitation or cancellation shall be in any way considered a breach of any contract to the subject resort assignment.
CONSENT TO JURISDICTION
Consent to Jurisdiction and Forum - The parties agree that any judicial action or proceeding arising in connection with this Agreement shall be brought and litigated exclusively in the State and Federal Courts (Kenton County Circuit Court and United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky at Covington) located in Kenton County, Kentucky. This forum selection is intended by the parties to be mandatory in nature, and the parties waive their respective rights to object to the forum. The parties further agree and stipulate that the above State and Federal Courts have in personam jurisdiction over each of them for purposes of litigating any disputes arising out of or related to this Agreement, and further hereby agree to and accept service of process sufficient for personal jurisdiction in either such State or Federal Court.
Governing Law - This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Attorney Fees - In any action at law or in equity, including an action for declaratory relief, brought to enforce, construe, or interpret the terms of this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees, plus costs and expenses of such action.
