Once your Teaching Vacation is confirmed, arranging airport transportation is one of the first things to check off your list. Here are answers to the questions we hear most.
Do I need my flight information to book a transfer? Yes. Have your complete flight itinerary — including all companion flights — ready before you start the booking process.
Are transfer prices one way or round trip? All transfer pricing is round trip.
When should I book transfers? Book as soon as your trip is confirmed. Do not book transfers before you receive your official booking confirmation from Fit Bodies.
The ideal window is 6 months to 1 week before your trip. The hard deadline is 72 hours before departure — within 72 hours, Fit Bodies may not be able to process and confirm your transfer. If you are inside that window, arrange alternative transportation independently.
What happens if I am traveling to multiple resorts? Email erica@fitbodiesinc.com for transfer options and pricing between resorts.
What if I only need a one-way transfer? Email erica@fitbodiesinc.com for one-way pricing and booking options.
What if my companion is arriving or departing on different flights? You, the Pro, should arrive at the resort at the same time as or before your companion — the room reservation is in your name.
If you and your companion are not traveling on the same flights, you will need to arrange separate transfers. This protects both parties in the event of a flight delay or cancellation.
Some transfers require a minimum of two passengers. What does that mean? Due to travel distance, certain resort transfers require a minimum of two passengers per order. For those locations, we strongly recommend coordinating arrival and departure on the same flights to avoid additional charges.
What if I am traveling to a resort that includes complimentary transportation? The following resorts provide complimentary transfers: Club Med, Couples, Sandals, and Beaches. Contact the resort directly to arrange your transportation at least 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Are shared transfers non-stop? No. Shared transfers may stop at other resorts en route to your destination. Private transfers are non-stop.
Once I locate Amstar at the airport, will I be placed in a van right away? Amstar will move you as quickly as possible, but delays due to traffic or other factors are possible.
What happens if there are issues with my transfer? Email transfers@fitbodiesinc.com in the event of any transfer issues. Please note that Fit Bodies is not responsible for outcomes offered directly by Amstar or any third-party transfer provider.
