Entering Companion Information and Occupancy Rules

Companion details are optional by default but can be added during the booking process.

1. Navigate to Step 2 of the checkout process.
2. Locate the toggle box at the top of the section labeled for companion information.
3. Toggle the box to "Yes" (or active) to indicate you are ready to enter the data.
4. Fill in the required fields that dynamically appear for each companion.

Mandatory Companion Data Requirements

While adding companions is generally optional at checkout, certain resorts require specific data upfront to secure the booking.

• Club Med Properties: Require the Name and Date of Birth (DOB) for ALL companions (Adults and Children) at the time of booking.
• All Other Family Resorts: Require the Name and Date of Birth (DOB) for CHILDREN only at the time of booking.

Standard Occupancy Rules

At most family-friendly resorts, the standard teaching vacation package covers:

• 1 Adult Companion
• Up to 2 Children (Ages 12 and under)
• Maximum Occupancy: 4 people total per room.

Permitted Room Combinations

The nightly rate for adding a teen (aged 13–17) to your room depends on the travel location, week, and the occupancy level at the time of booking. Because these factors fluctuate, We cannot provide an exact rate until the booking is confirmed.

Resort-Specific Exceptions

While the standard age cutoff for children is 12 years old, there are specific properties with unique age limits and fee structures:

• Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Allows up to 2 children ages 16 and under.
• Jewel Grande Montego Bay: Allows up to 2 children ages 15 and under.
• Fee Notice: At both of these specific properties, each child incurs an additional fee of $85 for the week.
