✈️ How to search for your perfect teaching vacation?
With over 80 luxury resorts in our network and more than 100 unique weekly opportunities, finding your ideal Fit Bodies Teaching Vacation is an exciting process! Whether you know exactly where you want to go or are simply looking for the next available beach, our search tools are designed to help you find the right fit.
1. SEARCH - The Pro Tip: Keep it Broad!
Our database is extensive, and combining too many search filters at once can accidentally hide great opportunities. Our top recommendation is to use only one or two filters at a time.
If you are flexible on your destination, try searching only by your available dates. If you have a dream resort in mind, search only by that resort name to see all of their upcoming openings.
2. Ways to Filter Your Search
You can mix and match the following criteria to narrow down your options:
- By Resort Name: Already know where you want to go? You can type in the specific name of a resort (e.g., "Dreams Estrella Del Mar") to jump straight to their property page.
- By Date Window: Enter your preferred departure date and a small window of time you are available to travel.
- By Resort Type: Filter the results to show only Family-Friendly resorts or strict Adults-Only sanctuaries.
- By Specialty: Select specific teaching disciplines (e.g., Yoga, Tennis, Zumba) to see only the resorts actively requesting your specific certifications.
- The "Browse All" Method: Not sure where to start? You can always simply scroll through our entire directory of approximately 100+ active resorts and check them out one by one!
3. Understanding Resort Availability Pages
Once you click into a specific resort, you can refine your search even further:
- Dynamic Date Range: The calendar on the resort page will default to showing the next available date as the start date, and the furthest out available date as the end date. You can easily adjust this window to focus on your preferred travel month.
- Refine by Specialty: While on the resort page, you can further filter the visible calendar dates to show only the openings for a specific teaching specialty.
4. Who Can See What? (Accounts vs. Guests)
Anyone can search our database to see what is available, regardless of whether they have purchased a membership yet. However, there is one important distinction regarding the closest travel dates:
- Logged-In Account Holders: Have full visibility of all available dates in the system, from last-minute openings to dates booked over a year in advance.
- Guests (Not Logged In): Cannot view the immediate upcoming weeks (typically the first few weeks out). Because new accounts require time for profile completion and certification approval, immediate travel is restricted to existing members who are already "Travel Ready."
