How does the Fit Bodies Teaching Vacation Work?

Fit Bodies Teaching Vacations allow certified fitness and wellness professionals to exchange their instructional expertise for a 7-night, all-inclusive resort stay for themselves and one adult companion (and up to 2 children at family resorts). To get started, professionals purchase a membership (such as the recommended $95 Travel Membership for discounted rates and early booking access), complete their instructor profile, and browse the database to match their availability and teaching disciplines with available resorts. Once a trip is booked and approved, professionals teach classes Monday through Saturday while enjoying full pre-travel support and resort amenities.

The Journey: Step-by-Step

The process is designed to be straightforward. Choose your membership level, create your professional profile, explore our network of available resorts, and request the Teaching Vacation that best fits your needs.

  1. Purchase Your Membership
    Choose the membership tier that works best for your travel goals.
  2. Create Your Instructor Profile
    Add your professional information, upload certifications, and complete your Fit Bodies profile to get "Travel Ready."
  3. Pick Your Date & Resort
    Browse available trips based on your schedule, desired destination, or specific teaching discipline.
  4. Submit Your Request
    Pay the administrative booking fee for your selected trip and await your official travel approval.

How to Choose Your Teaching Vacation

You can search our extensive database using three main criteria to find the perfect fit:

  • Dates: Find the exact week that aligns with your availability.
  • Destinations: Explore specific locations and countries you would love to visit.
  • Disciplines: Search for resorts actively requesting the specific formats you are certified to teach.
Travel Tip: We highly recommend checking current flight costs and routes before finalizing your destination request. This ensures you find the best overall and most convenient travel option for your budget.

What’s Included in the Exchange

While specific amenities vary slightly by location, most of our Teaching Vacations take place at luxury all-inclusive resorts and generally follow this structure:

  • Duration: 7 Days / 7 Nights
  • Schedule: Travel days are most often Sunday to Sunday.
  • Teaching Commitment: You will teach your scheduled sessions Monday through Saturday.
  • Companions: Your booking fee covers the resort stay for the teaching professional and one included adult companion as well as two children at most family resorts.
