A testimonial from a resort guest at Lady Hamilton Grand Palladium...
Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed meeting your employee Amy and was impressed with her skills and commitment to her field of expertise. I feel she went above and beyond her duties as guest trainer at the Grand Palladium. She took all her activities and participants needs seriously and professionally! Personally, she spent one on one time with me and developed a weight program to build up strength after a recent rotator surgery. It was a great experience to meet her and to receive such great care and attention. Thanks again for providing this unique opportunity . sincerely Jamie
Dreams Cancun
"My husband and I just returned from a wonderful week at Dreams! We were lucky to be in the new tower. The resort is so nice. What a great location in Cancun. You can walk to many bars, shops, and restaurants. It's a very family-friendly hotel. There is a staff yoga instructor that teaches at 9. I taught a Pilates class at 10 (on the activities sheet it says "Sculpt") and at 4 I taught yoga (it's listed as "hi-low") every day including Saturday. They are extremely flexible about formats. Even if no one comes the Entertainment staff promotes the class and takes it, hoping people will join us on the grass. What a great trip."

Dreams Tulum
"Just returned from this amazing resort and had an amazing time. All classes are outside and the Entertainment staff is very accomodating. I taught a 10am Stretching class on the beach, 11:30am Water Aerobics and 4:30 Poolside Zumba class. The staff loved learning Zumba! You can also teach abs or a butt/thigh toning class at 4:30pm if that is your preferance. We upgraded our room to a suite for $40 a night, definitely worth it because we traveled with our 2 boys ages 9 & 13. The suite is much larger with a separate living area with a daybed which was made up as a bed each night so our kids did not have to sleep together. Another note, we rented a car from Avis at the airport for $44 for the day because Avis is also located in the lobby of the resort and you can return the car when you arrive and it is much cheaper than a taxi or shuttle. Tipping the waiters a couple of dollars and they will shower you with service. I had to stop them from bringing me margueritas each day or I would not have been able to teach my 4:30pm classes. The entertainment staff is awesome and will make you feel so welcome, Paola, Ivan, Karla and Luis were my personal favorites and I can't wait to visit them soon."
Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton in Lucea, Jamaica
"Lady Hamilton is an Ultra Luxury resort. I spent 2 weeks there in May and had an absolutely fabulous time. The entertainment staff welcomed me with open arms and I felt like one of the group from the beginning. Class schedule was a 9:30am Stretch on the Beach and an 11:30am Aquasize. The staff joined in on the classes and we always chatted afterwards about exercise and fitness. Aquasize is taught is their signature pool which is breathtaking and bigger than you could ever imagine.
The resort itself has all that you are looking for. Beautiful beaches, luxurious rooms, many restaurant choices, serving all types of gourmet foods.
If it's entertainment you are looking for this is the place. Games going on all day, bands and showtime at night, followed by the disco after 11pm.
If you have children, this hotel is fine for families also. There is a childrens play area as well as many child friendly restaurants.
I look forward to returning to my new family at Lady Hamilton."

Temptations Resort and Spa in Cancun
"This resort is a quick 20 minutes from the Cancun airport on the edge of the main "hotel zone" going towards Cancun. Nice location if you want to stay and enjoy the resort at night or visit the clubs in the hotel zone. Local buses run continuously throughout the hotel zone 24/7.
This is an older property that has had a fairly recent total face lift. Silvers, grays, white and bright, bright red are the colors through out.
Room service is a continental breakfast only. Specialty restaurants do not require a reservation, so prime times do require a bit of a wait.
Nice clean beach set between two marina areas. A quiet pool area for your afternoon snooze and a very active swim up pool bar and pool for those who wish to make new friends and play games. The choice is yours.
Lively disco at night, sports bar to watch your favorite team, and Diego's pool bar. A little something for everyone."

Secrets Maroma Riviera Cancun
"I visited this resort August 23 - August 30th. It was a wonderful working vacation. The staff was so much fun to work with. I taught 3 classes per day: 10 am cardio, 12 pm aqua and 5 pm stretching. There was lower than normal occupancy the week I was there so my land classes had low attendance. I can only say great things about the resort! We tried every restaurant, went to every show, tried every bar and LOVED it all. We are looking forward to returning!"

Couples Tower Isle
This was my first trip with Fitbodies. I was a little nervous because on the receipt it said that there was a slight chance of being moved off the property. Well, upon checking in we were greeted with a big smile and a beautiful room. I wasn't as lucky as others who got the Ocean View, but the garden view was more than fine. I got in late Sunday morning and met with Orville, the activity director. He asked if I could also do a different type class, so I offered a "Butts and Guts" class daily, as well. He warned me that not many people usually came to classes. Well, I had made flyers, prepared 6 rides (one for each day) and had planned games and competitions and brought small prizes. I was determine to teach! The bikes were gorgeous brand new Schwinns, I arranged them so the participants could face the beach, then set out to find lunch. There was a buffet set up which was serving fresh seafood, vegetables and fruit. I had planned to eat healthy, but if you want cocktails, and everything including pizza, lobster, oriental, fries, vegetarian, or decadent desserts, this resort has 5 restaurants and you won't be disappointed. I've read in the other reviews to try the nude beach. That isn't my boyfriend or I's cup of tea, but I wished I would have had a chance to visit the island. No "sightseeing" on the island, I was told. You had to get naked if you went over! The Tower is on that island and I heard that it is just gorgeous. Snacks and alcohol are available over there as well.
Anyway, without much effort I had a full class every morning! They had suggested 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM, but since a lot of the excursions left the property around that time, I changed the first class to 7:30 AM. On Sunday and throughout the week I just invited anybody who looked even halfway fit to come to spinning! I had a flyer up with my picture and bio, and some people came up to talk to ME about the class. The afternoons had the same 2 people come each day, despite my efforts to fill that class as well, but we still had great fun. My boyfriend took pictures of my morning class, and the British couple who came every day at 3:30 called themselves my 3:30 class. We had dinner with them the last night and I even broke down and had a Margarita.
The resort had many free excursions. Horseback riding, Dunn River Falls (A MUST!!), shopping, glass bottom boat, snorkeling, a trip to Margaritaville, etc. The add-on excursions were very expensive. A trip to Bob Marley's house and gravesite, 11 miles down the road, was $95 EACH. I bought a t-shirt and cd and skipped the trip. But I will plan accordingly next year. I heard from people who went that it was definitely fun and they learned a lot about him. And yes, I am definitely going back next year. The staff, resort, spinning bikes, beach, food and entertainment are all top-notch. If you are a spinning instructor, DON'T MISS THIS TRIP!!! They welcome all types of group exercise instructors, but this is a true gem for cycling!

Secrets Capri
I would love to tell you what an amazing experience I had. ...
Anyway, I loved, loved, loved Secrets Capri. One couldn't have worked with a more professional, lovely group there. Ricardo Cardenas, and his Entertainment team are truly extraordinary!
I had very large groups taking my Yoga classes in the morning. Sometimes 18 or 20 people! An average of 16 daily. I taught Pilates in the afternoon to an average of 8-12 people. It was amazing. They were really great groups and I made some lovely friends. I also got some husbands hooked so they could go home and do it there with their wives.
I loved the food too. You can call me Ms. Papaya now. Or Passion fruit, or the salsa queen. All the restaurants were delicious.

Couples San Souci
Hi Suzelle! We are back from Jamaica and I wanted to touch base and let you know that out of the 4-5 times we have been to Sans Souci, this was, BY FAR, the best! We love it there so much - that's why we keep going back. The changes, albeit small, that have been made by Couples have been a noticeable enhancement from the point of view of a "repeat" guest. My classes were larger then ever and it was just a wonderful time. Thank you again for the opportunity to travel with you guys.

Zoetry paraiso de la Bonita
Zoetry was the most beautiful resort I have ever seen. The teaching location was, by far, the very best I have ever experienced. I taught every day over the water at the end of the (covered) pier.
I loved the remote location, the amazing suite, and the most wonderful food in Mexico. I can't wait to go back!!

Zoetry - beautiful experience--quiet, restful, respectful, delicious, and dreamy. Worth the extra expense. Zoetry is an artists expression creating images of wholeness and of Who and What I Really Am in this eternal dance of life. Simply because if feels blissfully good. My husband and I enjoyed our "wow" moments from valet airport pickup, personal scuba diving, our marble guestsuite, courtesy of staff and managers, and lovely guests. I was at home in this virtual "elevated heaven". It's on a different journey then the rest of the world. It is serene and at evening guests were in rooms by 10:00 p.m. and one can lay poolside, or on cabana beds on sandy beach, or become one with stars on guestsuite balcany bed. Extremely beautiful and quiet. We purchased tour to Chincha Izza all day 10 hours to include 4 hours at 1 of 7 Wonders of the World, swimming in a sunken cave (it looked like Garden of Eden), and local restaurant in Spanish Quarter with the best guides ever. We did a personalized scuba dive (my first) and it was amazing (talk about the primoridial sound of universe and being in the NOW!). At weeks end we taxied shopping in Cancun. It was the complete package. Resort General Managers delighted in our stay and you are expected to teach 2 morning yogas back to back. I also taught a water class 1 afternoon in mineral pool with loud music (the only loud music there--guests really enjoyed). I tried to teach 2 evening yogas about 5:00 after the Tamascal but guests really didn't want evening classes. Maybe a meditation or gentle class??

The most luxurious resort! My husband and I spent the week of 8/9-8/16 in the Nairobi suite. Each suite has it's own name and decor. It was beautiful. Two terraces, sunken marble tub, walk in shower, fruit basket, fully stocked mini-bar, turn down service etc. I taught an 8:30 yoga class and a 9:30 Pilates class daily at the end of the pier which was shaded. At 10:30, the day was my own to experience the pampering of the resort. While sitting around the pool, they actually bring trays of fresh sorbet and fruit skewers.
The food was excellent! The service was fantastic and the extras were extraordinry.
Be prepared for a very mellow vacation. There is no entertainment at night. You eat your fabulous 5 course meal and that's it. If you are looking for night life this is not the resort for you.
The most magical part of our vacation was the turtles that hatched on the beach. We had a special naming ceremony one night and set them off in the sand. They were led to the water and hopefully, 15 years from now, they will return to lay eggs.
The hotel also sports an alligator, many iguana, peacocks, parrots and Mexican racoons. (I felt like I was watching the Discovery channel.)
I highly reccommend this resort.
